Medication schedules can be complicated and difficult for people to manage on their own. OSF Home Care Services' PMD Personal Medication System is an easy to use, reliable medication delivery system that simplifies medication organization and delivery.

How It Works

The system reminds you to take your medications on schedule and monitors compliance. If the medications are not taken, the machine will immediately notify the designated contact person.

The one-button design, multiple reminders (audible spoken words and tones, visual flashing light and text messages) and easy to open dispensing cups make it easy for any individual capable of self-medicating to operate the unit. This device holds up to 60 doses and can dispense six times a day.

The PMD Personal Medication System prevents:

• Forgetfulness
• Taking too much medication
• Taking the wrong medication
• Taking medication on the wrong day

The system is also appropriate for patients with mild to moderate dementia (Alzheimer's or psychiatric conditions) and physical dexterity issues.

Cost

All of our Personal Response Systems are affordable!

• $37.00 per month for the Basic PRS Unit
• $55.00 for one-time PRS unit installation/activation fee
• $20.00 for activation fee for self-installation
• $65.00 per month for the PMD Personal Medication System
• $55.00 for one-time PMD Medication System installation fee
• $50.00 per month for Auto Alert service
