Telemonitoring
OSF Home Care Services’ Telemonitoring System collects patients’ vital signs daily and transmits the information to a central station for immediate review.
The system collects heart rate, oxygen saturation, blood pressure, body weight and temperature.
This allows OSF Home Care Services to spot and detect problems early to avoid trips to the hospital or emergency room. Patients receive daily reminders and step-by-step instructions to take their vital signs. The entire process takes less than three minutes.
Wound Care
OSF Home Care Services offers comprehensive care to patients suffering from chronic, non-healing wounds. These wounds can be caused from conditions such as diabetes, traumatic injuries, pressure ulcers, burns, and radiation-related skin conditions in cancer patients. Our certified and knowledgeable WOCN staff customizes each patient’s wound care.
